The 2026 Viking 82 Convertible (82C) sets a new benchmark in performance, luxury, and fishability. Building on the tremendous success of the Viking 80, this next-generation model redefines what’s possible in an offshore sportfisher—delivering more speed, space, and style than ever before.

Designed, engineered, and built by the Viking Yacht Company in New Gretna, New Jersey, the 82C is a five-stateroom, six-head convertible yacht equally suited for serious tournament competition or extended family cruising.

Performance & Hull Design

At nearly 83 feet in overall length and a 21’ 5” beam, the 82C offers exceptional balance and hydrodynamic efficiency. Built using resin-infused fiberglass with carbon-fiber reinforcements, it combines strength and lightness for superior handling.

The 82C is powered by twin CAT C32A /1925 MHP, with alternative power options from CAT and MTU. The Advanced Viking Propulsion System (AVPS), featuring optimized rudders and struts, improves lift and speed while reducing drag, helping this yacht achieve cruising speeds in the mid-30-knot range and top speeds around 42 knots.
